Specialty License Plates

Since 1987, the State of Florida has approved specialty plates for distribution. Specialty plates available include select Florida universities, professional sports teams, enviromental causes, and well as various other miscellaneous causes. Each license plate has a special use fee that is collected at the time of purchase with a portion returned back to trust funds to benefit the organization.
